Can you help support the Kidzmania Crowdfunder to buy some new play equipment for our new premises

If you have been following our story, you may be aware that Kidzmania used to be in an old warehouse facing the road at 28 Powell Road. We moved into our current location which was behind our old building when that was demolished to make room for some new flats.

Our move here was supposed to be temporary  while the new flats were being built and then we would move into a new, purpose built space underneath the flats. Unfortunately that temporary period was much longer than anyone expected, but we hope we are nearly at the end of this long journey and hope to sign a new lease vert shortly.

The costs of fitting out the new Kidzmania are going to be much greater than was originally planned, and money that we had allocated for the new equipment will now have to be used for the fit out of the new build.

So we have decided to launch The Kidzmania Crowdfunder to help with the cost of buying the new play equipment. The new Kidzmania will provide a more challenging and exciting experience for children, but we want to ensure that it remains easy on the pockets of parents.

The new Kidzmania will be run as a Community Interest Company, so the equipment purchased with the assistance of the crowdfunding campaign will always belong to the community of Hackney and hopefully will secure the future of Kidzmania after the challenges of the development of the site and the difficulties caused by Covid.

Can you help at all? Any donation, large or small to the Kidzmania Crowdfunder, will be an enormous help to us in fulfilling our ambition to provide an amazing and affordable experience for future generations of Hackney’s children.
